I like the size and what it does but...

The inside water drain attachment part is slightly rusting after 3 times of use... what do i do?

Like it but not love it

Love the antique look of it but wished it held more water. I never use the temperature gauge. Would be nice to have an option of with(out) gauge.

Well made and very good quality little kettle.

Been using the kettle two or three times per day, for last few months, to boil water for pour over coffee. Pours beautifully - can really limit stream of hot water, and doesn't drip. The only 'defect' is that the thermometer (which is quite accurate), will steam up, and I would guess that over time, it would rust out. However, once the interior of the thermometer had totally dried out, I plugged up all the seams that steam/water could infiltrate, with the silicone putty 'Sugru', and after a few months now, no more steam or condensation on the inside of the thermometer. Don't forget to empty out the kettle after each use. Don't leave water sitting inside - or it will, over time, start to rust. I did buy the kettle on sale, so it was a great buy. Highly recommended.

Thermometer

The vapor get in to the thermometer display , so some times ,the water in it , gets on the way for temperature reading
