Very luxury appearance, but.....First one: The plug was disconnected from the back because the magnet was weak. Also the basket was touching the oil. ( I filled a little less than the max ) . I returned the equipment. Second one: In the middle of the cooking, the display totally disappear = blank . I didn t trust anymore. I asked for the money back .... I spend too much money and didn t want more surprises Unfortunately will try to come back to T-fal : (

La friteuse ne correspond pas aux normes attendues

Au niveau friture cest un trs bon produit, mais le bac de rcupration de lhuile souvre trop facilement laissant lhuile couler sur le comptoir. De plus, la vidange dhuile est trs bruyante et et le temps dcoulement est long

Paderno Auto-Drain Deep Fryer review

The Paderno Auto-Drain Deep Fryer has excellent temperature control and is made with heavier gauge stainless steel than other deep fryers that i have used. The single basket is larger than other deep fryers and requires less oil (3.5 litres rather than 4 or more litres) which will allow more food to be fried in a single session. It has a digital timer, temperature readout and will autl-drain when the oil has cooled sufficiently. There is very little rooom for improvement. The price is a little steep for a deep fryer but, in this case, you get what you pay for. The lid seems to fit a little odd as it seems to lay on top with no real support or pocket to sit in. Myself and many others have noted that the auto-drain has a fairly loud buzzing noise every few minutes while actively draining. You must leave the deep fryer plugged in for approximately 1 hour to allow the auto-drain feature to work as it is an electronically controlled solenoid that opens the drain valve. Many other draining deep fryers depend on the user to monitor oil temperature and turn a draining knob at the appropriate time. The Paderno Auto-Drain Deep Fryer is an excellent appliance for any kitchen, very well built, easy to use controls, easy to read digital display and larger than normal basket. We will be enjoying this deep fryer for many years to come.
