Surface is very rough

Bought this hoping it would work like my Blackstone but be more portable.
The surface was very rough, after several seasoning attempts food still stuck. I sanded the surface to make it smooth like my blackstone is and reseasoned again. This helped some but it seems like it needs reseasoned after every use, I even tried using Blackstone seasoning. I’m not new to using cast iron. All I can assume is it’s cheap china cast iron or poor quality control do yourself a favour leave it in the store

Cast iron grill and griddle.

My husband hates cleaning the barbecue. This works great? Everything was perfectly cooked and easy to clean.
