Chive Popovers

  • 2 tablespoons canola oil
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 cup flour
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh chives, divided

1. Preheat the oven to 450F.

2. Combine the eggs, milk, flour and salt in a medium bowl and whisk very well until smooth. Whisk in half the chives

3. Place a PADERNO Non-Stick Jumbo Muffin Tin, 6-Cup on a baking sheet. Pour about 1 teaspoon of oil into each cup. Place in the oven for about 2 minutes to heat up the pan and oil. Take the pan out of the oven and immediately, carefully pour the batter evenly between the cups. Sprinkle with remaining chives and pop back into the oven.

4. Bake for 25 minutes or until puffy and golden. Serve immediately.

TIP: Popovers are a perfect side dish for roast chicken, or even a bowl of soup!
